Do you have sticky notes all over your desk reminding you to do something or read something? Do you send yourself emails with links to go back and look at when you have more time?

Well, now there’s an app for that. There are products for free like Evernote for Apple and Android. There’s a $5 offering called PhatPd for the iPad. There’s even a $1 version of Notability also available for the iPad. These “note taking” organizational software versions are here to replace the “sticky note” on your desk.

We read about this and thought it would be useful to our Boston area small business partners.

These and other apps make it so easy to record, circulate and retrieve your most important thoughts that they’re worth far more than the few bucks you’ll spend on them.

As for the other mobile software on this list, they’re headed by the new girl on the block, Siri, and she’s available only to those who bought her shiny new chariot, Apple’s iPhone 4S.

It may be time to give Siri another look. Let us know if you are ready to give up on the hand held tape recorder to leave yourself messages and get with the program. Can’t you just see how you’ll be able to increase your productivity? It’s time, really, don’t you agree?
