The new Apple cloud computing network will allow you to stream movies and television programs to anywhere you can access your iTunes account. This will be making lives much easier for so many people in the near future. This is just another reason your Boston area small business should be using a cloud computing network of any kind.
Apple updated the second-gen Apple TV today, adding iCloud support and streaming from Vimeo.
With the new iCloud feature you can stream any TV show or movie you’ve purchased from iTunes on your computer.
That means you don’t have to worry about using AirPlay to beam movies from your computer to your Apple TV. Everything is tied to your iTunes account now.
You can also purchase videos from your Apple TV. (You could only rent before now.)
John Gruber reports on Daring Fireball that the cloud streaming may be a U.S.-only feature. Gruber also says that not all shows are available for streaming. This could be because Apple is still rolling out the feature.
